CHILLONA: the zine

Crybaby. Sensitive. Emotional. Delicate. These words and more have been used to put down women and femmes who cry a lot and have intense reactions to the sadness and joys of life. Co-edited by LA-based Latina poets Sofía Aguilar and Celeste Alyssa Gomez, CHILLONA is a zine anthology of writing and visual art that celebrates and embraces the crybaby in all of us.

The collection features a curated selection of poems, short stories, essays, and visual art from 20 artists who discuss what brings tears to their eyes, what makes them sob and laugh at the same time, how they recover and take care of themselves after a good cry sesh. In this zine, we embrace the tears and let them flow.
